May 10-11 Boater Safety

As part of our effort to promote safety and education we have invited the NC Wildlife Resource Commission to hold boater education classes in our training center. Any person born on or after January 1, 1988, must complete a NASBLA approved boating education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor of 10 HP or greater on public waterways. This free NASBLA-approved course is taught by wildlife officers. In North Carolina. Once participants meet all requirements of the class, the Wildlife Commission will mail a certification card to participants. The classes are free, but you do need to pre-register. All you have to do is click on the “Register Now” tab below which will take you to the NC Wildlife Commission’s registration page.
