As part of our effort to promote gun safety and education we have partnered with NRA Certified Instructor, Joey Lee. Her background in firearms safety is extensive and includes experience teaching classes in Basic Pistol, Personal Protection in the Home, and Situational Awareness. This particular class focuses on women interested in learning more about handguns in preparation for their first purchase. We understand how intimidating it can be and our hope is to make the process easier for you. Participants will learn about the different handguns available, help in narrowing down the field of choices that are best for you, and what steps need to be taken in order to purchase a firearm in the state of North Carolina.  Most importantly this class focuses on safety! It is important to note that this is a non-shooting class. However, participants can expect to learn how to safely handle and store a firearm, learn proper grip for accuracy when shooting, trigger control, sight alignment, and proper stance as well as what to expect when going to the range the first time. Please note, we do require registration and payment prior to the day of class. Registration can be done over the phone or in person at the shop. The class is $30 per person.
